American Girl's newest BeForever™ character, Nanea Mitchell, is a 9-year-old girl growing up on the island of Oahu in 1941. Her story of courage and kindness during wartime comes to life through the Nanea two-book series, the beautiful 18-inch Nanea doll, and authentic-to-the-era outfits and accessories. Inspired by Nanea's powerful story, American Girl is partnering with the American Red Cross in support of their Service to the Armed Forces (SAF) program to help provide comfort and care to the members of the military, veterans, and their families.
